This page will have events for individual candidates, groups of candidates, or community events that several candidates plan to attend. Some will be fundraisers, some information meetings. Candidates are always glad to meet the voters.  Check back for regular updates!

October 11th.  Ball State University Homecoming Parade. Several candidates will march in the parade or have a float. The parade is from 10 - 12, and lineup is at the Muncie Field House. October 3rd, Champions for Public Education with Sue Errigton, Indiana House District 34, and Glenda Ritz, IN Superintendent of Public Instruction, at the home of Mike and Caroline Sullivan, 2615 West Purdue, Muncie. 5 - 7 PM. September 19th. Golf Event to benefit Mike Scroggins' campaign. The will have a golf scramble will be at Maplewood at 8 a.m. Friday, and there are still a few spots to fill.  If you want to play, contact Jason Walker to sign up.  His contact no. is 760-3736.

September 5th All Aboard the Sue Train, 2901 W. University, 5 - 7 PM. Fundraiser for Sue Errington. All supporters welcome.

August 28th Team Democrat PAC Campaign Headquarters opens at 425 North High Street, Muncie, with a reception from 5-7 PM

August 2nd there will be a fundraiser barbeque for Sue Errington at the historic home of Joe and Betty Hadley, 2304 South Burlington. Cost is $12 for adults (children free) and there will be pulled pork and vegetarian options. The Jazzmanian Devils will entertain. Shon Byrum (D Candidate for House District 33) only has a portion of Delaware County, but he puts big effort into it and the others. He will be at county fairs for Delaware, Jay and Randolph and July 4th celebrations in Portland, Dunkirk (both on the 4th) and Redkey  (on the 5th).  If you'd like to volunteer for the Portland Parade (line up 9:30 at East Jay Junior High, parade at 11) or other events, contactt Shon at 765-546-2861 or Shonbyrum1@hotmail.com. July 5th will be Team Democrat PAC's monthly social event and brief meeting at the Shrinter's Club in Muncie. It's the day after a holiday, but the fireworks won't keep you up that late, so join us. We'll talk about plans for the county fair and candidate interviews. We tend to eat about eight and meet informally after that.

Evening with Melanie Wright (candidate for House District 35) and Glenda Ritz (IN Superintendent of Schools). June 27th, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Mill Creek Civic Center, Chesterfield, IN. Dinner and music. $8 for one person, $15 for a couple. Contact Randy Harrison for tickets on 765-617-0371. The Murpah Shrine Club is 3222 East McGalliard, and sits back from the road on the north side of the street.

June 21st. 8 p.m. Team Democrat has reserved a table at the annual Heart and Hands fundraiser to help kids with back packs and other school supplies. The location is Cornerstone for the Arts and your ticket will provide food and Rock and Roll. There will be a cash bar. Carl Storie will provide the entertainment. Contact Sue Templin if you would like to set at our table.  Seats are a bargain at $20.  Sue's contact no. is 289-2696.  Please help us fill this table it is for a good cause.
